A new line of ultrasonic thickness gauges now includes the Sonagage IV, T-Gage V, Microgage III and Steelgage II. The Sonagage IV is a straight-forward gauge for corrosion applications & can measure metal loss within a range of 1mm-500mm to an accuracy of +/- 0.1mm. Ideal for operators testing a few different materials, the Sonagage IV has 8 set-ups for common materials & 2 custom set-ups. Also for corrosion assessment is the T-Gage V series, which comes with monochrome display as standard. All models can be ordered with a colour TFT display. Simple in-field upgrade options, for such features as data logging (with Data XLS software) & A-Scan/B-Scan displays are also available throughout the life of upgradeable models. The T-Gage V comes in three standard models. The T-Gage V-B has a variable velocity facility to allow a wider range of materials to be measured. Intelli-FlavOMS 5 is for ultimate flexibility in on-machine seasoning (OMS) applications. The latest evolution of the leading intelli-flav seasoning range, the tna intelli-flav OMS 5 offers consistent coverage and flavour for both wet and dry seasoning. Fully integrated with both oil spray and flavour injection systems, the new OMS provides total control of adhesion and fast flavour changes for snack lines.  It features a responsive variable mass seasoning system with dynamic vibratory weigher to directly control oil spray and powder flow into the drum. This enables an accurate, proportional amount of seasoning to be evenly applied to the product for improved coverage and flavour dispersion.  Further performance benefits are realised through the enhanced position of the scarfplate on the tna intelli-flav OMS 5 infeed. Mounted to the edge of the drum, the scarf better directs the product into the spraying and flavouring area, providing high quality seasoning performance. Additionally, the newly designed scalloped infeed conveyor allows more product to enter the seasoning drum, while also helping to control product direction for greater accuracy and reduced waste. With a simple, modular design, the intelli-flav OMS 5 is fully enclosed for increased levels of hygiene and ease of cleaning. X4 is a new multi-edged, tangential tool for parting off and grooving of small components. Available in cutting widths from 0.5 Ð 3.0 mm (.031ÕÕ Ð .093), X4’s inserts minimise material consumption in parting off and enable precise grooving and copying of small and medium-sized, complex parts. Performance is further enhanced through X4’s tangential insert bodies that ensure high rigidity, stability and productivity. To increase flexibility, every specific X4 insert seat can accommodate all X4 insert types, allowing for reduction of tooling inventory. Depending on the cutting edge width, the tool’s maximum cutting depth ranges from 2.6 – 6.5 mm (.102  .256) and can cut off maximum bar diameters from 5.2 – 13 mm (.205 Ð .512). X4 inserts are available in neutral, right-hand angled and left-hand angled cutting edge options. Ideal for a wide variety of common workpiece materials, X4 uses CP500 and CP600 insert grades. CP600 features a mix of toughness and wear resistance suitable for most general applications, while CP500 provides increased wear resistance for more challenging applications. To further increase X4’s performance, inserts with the MC chipbreaking geometry can be applied. This versatile geometry achieves excellent formation of comma and clock-spring chips in a variety of materials and uses a straight front edge line to guarantee a straight bottom within a groove. New low profile L.E.D strip lamps have been specially styled to complement modern caravan and motorhome interiors. Featuring the latest SMD L.E.D technology, the interior lamps deliver a smooth, yet powerful light output. Ensuring complete versatility, the lamps are supplied with three interchangeable end caps, allowing them to be surface or corner mounted for a neat, unobtrusive finish. Multiple lamps can also be interconnected to create continuous lengths of lighting, adding elegance with a professional touch to the interior of a caravan or motorhome. All lamps are fully sealed to IP66 rating and each draws ultra-low current of 0.09A at 12V or 0.05A at 24V and 0.15A at 12V or 0.07 at 24V. The strip lamps come in 150mm and 300mm lengths in both 12 Volt and 12/24 Volt.          

New horizon resistance welding equipment allows users to choose from among 24 modular components of weld heads and weld pincers to configure the perfect solution for their application. Plastics and printing technologies supplier Techspan Group, reports that their range of TSC label printers and Windows drivers have passed Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) testing and are now certified for use with all Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit configurations. The Windows certification will simplify the installation of TSC printers and their integration with any Windows 7 computer. When a TSC printer is connected to an Internet-enabled computer using a USB cable, Windows drivers will install automatically, eliminating the requirement for installation CDs. To qualify for WHQL certification, TSC printers and their Windows drivers were subjected to a series of quality and operating system-compatibility tests. The results were then submitted to Microsoft for review and approval. TSC printers and drivers will now carry the “Certified for Windows” logo, signifying that they have passed Windows WHQL certification and are compatible with all Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit configurations. Techspan are also major suppliers of TTR or Thermal Transfer Ribbons -the consumable used in all thermal transfer label barcode printers. For over 40 years, Lego elements in many shapes and colours are produced on Engel injection moulding machines at sites in Denmark, Hungary and Mexico. Engel supplies Lego factories with both servo-hydraulic and all-electric injection moulding machines. Just under half of the 1500 injection moulding machines supplied by Engel in the last four decades are in use at Lego Group factories today. The demands on the machines have grown continuously throughout this period.
